Purpose:
Provides funding for developmental disability programs (e.g., schools, work-site shelters, group homes). Ohio Revised Code, Section 5126.05
Establishing Authority:
Ohio Revised Code, Section 5126.02
Composition:
Seven (7) members: five (5) shall be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), and two (2) shall be appointed by the probate judge of the county. Each member shall be a resident of the county. The membership of the board shall, as nearly as possible, reflect the composition of the population of the service district as to race and gender.
The Board scheduled meetings will be at 5:00PM on the second Tuesday of each month. No meetings are scheduled for February and July. All meetings will take place at the HCDDS offices at 1520 Madison Road (45206).
Terms:
Members may be appointed to three consecutive four year terms.
