Planning + Development staff is responsible for storm water regulations and floodplain management. An engineer in our office who works for the Soil and Water Conservation District administers earthwork and erosion control regulations. These rules are in place to protect your construction project, minimize hazards from flooding or landslides, and preserve Hamilton County's environment and hillsides.

Plans Submission

Plans can be submitted for review at the Permit Counter of the Hamilton County Building and Development Department.

Inspections will be conducted by Stormwater Inspectors of Hamilton County Building and Development Department.
