Board of Storm Drainage Variances and Appeals

The Hamilton County Board of Storm Drainage Variance and Appeals was created and established under Section 6117.01 of the Ohio Revised Code which allows the Board to adopt, publish, administer and enforce Rules and Regulations governing the construction and development within Special Flood Hazard Areas as designated by Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) and operation of the storm drainage systems in the unincorporated areas of Hamilton County.

The Board was adopted on May 8th, 1985.

Section 6.1 of the Flood Damage Prevention Regulations and or Article XIV, Section ST 1401, Variance and Appeals of the Storm Water Regulations provides, any person aggrieved of any decision of any administrative officer of Hamilton County, Ohio, which is based on the provisions of the Regulations, may appeal such decision or seek a variance from the provisions of the Regulations or any other rules, regulations, codes, or resolutions affected by the Regulations.
